That was AWESOME!!

I was blessed to get the opportunity to go to the Clemson bowl game this week. I had a great time in Orlando with one of my best friends (Alan) and his brother Chris. We left on Monday and stayed at the ritzy Renaissance.....free of charge. Talk about miracles. It is funny how it all went down....At first, I was to go with two other friends (Mark and Kevin), however they were unable to make it...Not thinking I was going to get to go, Alan and Chris came through in the clutch. We got down late Monday night, traffic was horrible, and hung out at the stadium all day Tuesday. Tailgating, video games, movies....watching others make fools of themselves ;) And of course the Tigers won.....was there any doubt? Then, Wednesday the long ride home! All in all it was fun and we got to see the Tigers whoop up on the Buffaloes!! Look for pictures this evening. If I had to sum up the trip in three words, I would have to say "That was AWESOME!!" ;)

Merry Christmas Eve!

I am so glad Christmas Eve is here. Not just for the holidays, but I am also off work!!!! That's enough reason to have a holiday right there. Today is going to be a busy day....I have party's for toasting, marshmellows for roasting and we will caroling out in the snow....wait, there is no snow...oh well, maybe next year. Any way, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good next couple of days off.....except Lance, you have to work. NO SOUP FOR YOU!

OK here it goes.....

I hope this is as interesting to you all as it is in my head. For those you do not know me too well, I like to debate. Ask Melanie....I can never let her say something and it be fact, there is always the but. These last several days I have been debating with several "scientific-minded" people. I can not get over how close-minded they can be towards christians, but think christians are close-minded towards them. How they can say this world was created without the hand of God is beyond me. To think a cosmic ball of dust blew up and put us in the perfect spot so that life could be formed without some sort of divine direction is about crazy.....Try this tonight: go to Krispy Kreme and buy three jelly-filled doughnuts. Take doughnut number 1 and blow it up....What happened? It went everywhere...was there any order to it? NO! Now, take doughnut number 2, put it in a funnel and blow it up...What happened? You controlled the direction of the explosion, much like God did. He was the Director of Life and always will be.

Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

Now take doughnut number 3, eat and enjoy. Good Night.

Watch out world, here I blog!!

Ok, this started out as an accident. However, I may explore this, so look back this evening for some more of my ramblings.
